TeXtreme +/-45 weaving technology allows for the production of continous length Spread Tow fabrics in +/-45 degree orientation. The +/-45 fabric is ideal for applications when there is a need for torsional stiffness, such as wing skins. Compared to 0/90 and UD, the continuous +/-45 orientation saves both lay up time (no splices) and material usage.
