WITH CEO NORMAN RAAD BROLL CEO APPOINTED TOWITS INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARD
Broll Auction and Sales chief executive officer Norman Raad has accepted an invitation to serve on the University of the Witwatersrand’s Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment Industry Advisory Board (IAB). The main aim of the IAB is to assist the Faculty in its drive to position itself closer to industrial sectors that are aligned with the academic programmes. The Faculty has seven schools, two from the Built Environment and five from Engineering. Raad, along with other business leaders, will offer strategic advice on the Wits graduate employability, quality of its undergraduate/postgraduate courses, relevance of research and its impact on the economy, as well as plans and opportunities for strategic growth of the Faculty. “I am honoured to accept this appointment and look forward to adding value to the academic programme.
