A Wilderness Act Guided by the wisdom of college professor Evan Larson and Anishinabe student Melonee Montano, we learn how the very definitions penned to protect our country’s most precious landscapes can destroy them instead. United by their desire to preserve the Red Pine forests of Minnesota's BWCA, the two join together to educate upcoming generations on how returning fire to the land, and returning the land to its people, can be healing for all.
In early 2025, Cleveland Cliffs announced that over 600 Iron Range steelworkers were set to be laid off. In this short documentary, I talk to Stuart Van Orsdel and Barbara Barker, two miners who were affected by the layoffs. They talk about how it's impacting themselves, their community, and why it's so important.

Reasons for Moving

It features footage of the performance of the same title alongside testimonies by Monica Bryand, Executive Director of the Urban Bird Collective, senior immigration attorney Alexis Dutt, and scholars Ernesto Cappelo, Arjun Guneratne, and Roopali Phadke.
