This Land
Las Jíbaras An intimate portrait of two generations of Puerto Rican women reclaiming their connection to the land and one another through traditional farming practices. Set between the lush mountains of Puerto Rico and the city of San Juan, the film follows the rhythms of planting, shared wisdom, and community building, revealing a way of life rooted in care, resilience, and reciprocity.

Nationally, non-white farmers own less than 4 percent of agricultural land, and in Minnesota, that rate is even lower.” The film follows the stories of land seekers, land owners, and land sharers to raise and explore questions about land justice in the US.
