Valley Learnings This addition and renovation is specific to this one family, yet applicable for the entire neighbourhood of similar structures where a wider lot is coupled with a limiting housing type. There is a wide range of opportuni- ties to improve this housing’s flexibility for both extended single family occupancies or stacked housing flats. As Toronto’s growth is reigned-in by its unsustainability, there will be a greater need to re-examine the close- in suburbs of the mid-twentieth century in terms of densification and adaptability. c Vital Stats Owners: Karen Stakaruk & Duncan Craig Architect: Paul Whelan with Robert Allen Structural Engineer: Blackwell Engineering
