It’s time once again for some friendly competition... the annual SugarTown Follies! Residents of the sweet city of SugarTown are gearing up to showcase their most delicious creations in celebration of all things sugary. Who will take the prize? Will it be the NERDS team, the M&M’s, or perhaps the Candy Bar team this time? From lollipop lovers to chocolate connoisseurs, with the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling the air and colorful sprinkles adorning the streets, everyone is ready for the sweetest showdown ever! Kids Warrior Yoga Instructor: Carolyn Miller, M.Ed, RYT-200 Yoga for school age children provides a fun and engaging way for children to practice mindfulness, body awareness, balance, strength and flexibility in a non-competitive and compassionate environment. Traditional

yoga poses will be explored using child friendly language, games and traditional yoga sequencing. In addition, yoga provides children with increased focus, confidence and the ability to work

Future Scientists Instructor: Supplies on Demand, LLC Students will examine the different parts of teeth, the importance of scientists discovering healthy toothpaste that was developed using chemistry, dental floss…in Terrific Teeth, learn about various animals and plants that live in Proud Ponds, learn the relationship between the sun and the planets in Sensational Solar System and study how magnets attract, repel and how paper clips can turn into a magnet in Magnetic Attraction! Students will experiment with the invisible skin of water in Super Surface Tension, learn about kinetic and potential energy and the relationship between Electrifying Energy and Static Electricity. Pottery for Kids Instructor: Andrea Serafino Children love to get their hands in

clay! Students will learn the basic hand- building techniques of pinching, coiling, slab-building and sculpting. Clay painting and glazing will also be taught. All material and firing costs are included in the class fee. Then, we’ll bring the action to life as we build and program LEGO® mini robots.
