Optimal care in focus: Dr. Leah Brady’s story
How patient needs inspired a high-tech practice
Shortly after Dr. Leah Brady opened Ideal Image Dentistry and Spa in Mandan, North Dakota, in 2013, she started investing in technology.
She was inspired by her patients who traveled at least an hour for crown preps only to have to return two weeks later to finish their dental work. She invested in CAD/CAM so they could get crowns in a single visit, greatly enhancing their experience.

“That changed how we make technology purchases – now, we’re always considering how it will benefit our patients,” Brady says.
Seeing great results with an all-tissue laser, CBCT and more
Brady also invested in the Solea All-Tissue Laser, CBCT and a 3D printer. For patients, these investments mean access to more procedures in-house, better education and treatment plans, and less anesthesia, pain and bleeding during dental restorations. “It’s going to provide you with opportunities to treat your patients better, treat things sooner and do more things at one time, which is ultimately what people want,” Brady says. Technology also has meant growth for Brady. She sees more patients, does more complex treatments, and can do more procedures per appointment.
