G E N E R A L M A N A G E R
Greetings Members, Your receipt of this Rambler marks a new era of communication for our club. It is with great pride that I introduce Ridgewood Country Club’s newest senior staff member, Director of Communication, Danielle Woodard. This position is the first of its kind in the history of our great club and illustrates the importance of this process in today’s club environment. Your club has an enormous responsibility to communicate its activities effectively to each member. In addition, every piece of media whether print or electronic that bears the Ridgewood logo should accurately represent our brand in style and graphic design. Our mission for this position will be to accomplish just that. Over the coming weeks and months, I will be working closely with this new position to build a modern country club strategy for communication by answering the important questions of how and when we communicate with our membership. Danielle joins our team with a wealth of experience and the skills needed to assist in this massive undertaking. She also brings excitement and a passion that will also be needed to see this through to fruition. Beginning in May our new Director of Communications has already begun work on several critical pieces. Creating a new design for the 2018 pool menu was her first objective and we have heard great reviews. This July/August Rambler is her first publication and we hope you enjoy the new look and feel. Danielle’s office is located in the Administration office area so please stop by, say “hello” and help me welcome Danielle Woodard to the Ridgewood family! The pool season is in full swing and we hope you are enjoying the changes. The combined efforts of Evan Mock, Shyane Biles and Josey Lupfer have lead the charge in ensuring the 2018 pool season is an enjoyable experience. There is still plenty of summer left and we encourage all members to visit this amazing part of our facility. To help provide additional reasons to enjoy the pool we have created several new poolside events. Karaoke by the pool, Burgers and Bingo and Sunday Funday are a few events you will want to mark on your calendar!
In just a few short days we will host one of Ridgewood’s greatest annual traditions. Our July 4th celebration is one of a kind and full of food, fun and fireworks. As a reminder, we will have a security checkpoint at the front gate on July 4th. Members will need to provide the names of any guests who may be coming to the security checkpoint. This will ensure your guests have a smooth entrance into the club if they are arriving without you.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you at the club soon!
