Meditation 101: The Beginner’s “How To” Workshop

Presented by Arnie Reilly, M.S., C.P.T., 500 RYT and Certified Nutritionist Learn how to train the mind, similar to the way that fitness is an approach to training the body. Studies have documented the following short-term benefits to the nervous system: *Lower blood pressure *Improved blood circulation *Lower heart rate

*Less anxiety/stress *Deeper relaxation

Wednesday, 5 October

On Wednesday, 5 October, join Dr. Bryan Williams for a discussion about the physics of the golf swing and common golf swing flaws. Off-season strengthening and flexibility exercises will be a focus for those looking to keep in shape through the winter. Dr. Williams is a Titleist Performance Institute certified instructor, as well as a physical therapist. The seminar will begin at 7:30 PM in the Group Exercise Studio. There is no charge, but please register in advance online here .

Fitness Yoga** Fridays at 5:30 PM. Gentle Yoga** Tuesdays/Thursdays at 9:45 AM.

Seniorcize* Mondays at 4:00 PM and Thursdays at 11:00 AM (45 minutes). Toning + Abs* Tuesdays/Thursdays at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM; Saturday at 10:00 AM. Yoga (All Levels)** Sundays at 10:00 AM Yoga for Kids** (ages 7- 9) Fridays at 4:00 PM (45 minutes) Zumba* TBA *Standard Class Rates: $13/drop-in, or $7/class effective rate for subscription. **Specialty Class Rates: $20/drop-in, or $10/class effective rate for subscription. All classes are offered on a subscription basis. Between the 15th and 25th of each month, members may sign up for the following month’s classes online, by calling extension 1234, or by emailing john.porter@ancc.org . “Drop-ins” are allowed at some classes for a slightly higher fee.

Members wishing to access the building before 7:00 AM on weekdays and 8:30 AM on weekends, or after 8 PM on weekdays and 5:30 PM on weekends, will need a personal identification number to unlock the door. The application for a PIN can be found on the club’s website under “Club Documents & Forms.”
