HOME & COTTAGE
STEEPED IN HISTORY The roots of this house run deep. Built in 1867 for British Naval Admiral and surveyor Henry Wolseley Bayfield, and his wife Fanny Amelia Wright Bayfield, the home was purchased by Peter and Bonnie MacDonald in 2011. After years of sitting empty and in disrepair, the MacDonalds rolled up their sleeves and took on the enormous project of transforming the neglected house themselves, tacking one room at a time.
