success becomes the success of her community—She works with other entrepreneurs and is always on hand to give advice. She also loves showcasing products from others as well. Farmer Flory's Shoppe opened in 2017, and it is now in tandem with Flory’s Café & Market, which opened at the end of the season in 2018. They have expanded since, offering ADL ice cream and Samuel's coffee, and also showcase goods from other companies.
“We offer fresh baked goods like muffins, cinnamon rolls, bread, and the best butter tarts around. We serve sandwiches, wraps, donairs, and more. We also offer a variety of meat from chicken, goat, lamb, and pork, and have developed our very own donair meat for the past four years. Of course there is a selection of cold drinks, and other local products in store too,” she says. “We have a number of products from many local artisans from here on PEI as well as New Brunswick and Ontario, like Deep Roots Distillery, All A Board PEI, ADL ice cream, Belisle
animal feed, Hazel Grove Sugar Shack, Gourmet Pleasures, Adele Arsenault’s custom sewing, Jessica Gallant Beauty, Samuel's coffee, SipT tea, Colour Me Ceramics, MacQuarrie's Meats, Monique Caissie’s crocheted products, East Coast Craft Soda from Upstreet, Rebecca MacDonald Artist’s embroidery kits, Earth Food and Fire, Nova Scotian author Karen Dean. We use the services of Stay Golden Custom, DALMAC, Kays Wholesale, Atlantic Dairy, Charlottetown Veterinary, and VanKampen's. We are always looking to expand as well.”
