Alisa Beck’s sleek, current Island home designs
A lisa Beck spends her days providing decor and design ideas for homes and businesses. “I love helping people create homes that reflect who they are,” she says. “Everyone has different taste, and a different vibe in their home. My job is to help produce a space that’s unique, fashionable and functional!” A recent project found her doing just that; the modern new build allowed Alisa to “think outside the box” and get creative with products, finishes, and furnishings. “It’s exciting when a client is interested in unique, modern elements, and happy to try something different,” she says. “I think it’s out- of-the-ordinary elements that make a space extraordinary!” Alisa offers her design services through Beck’s Home & Heating in Brudenell. (Her husband Ryan leads the business’s heating crew.) “My personal style includes texture, earthy colours, clean lines, bold blacks, and mood lighting,” she explains. “We all crave warmth and comfort—we want to put our feet up and relax! I put my heart and soul into ensuring clients feel that when they walk into their space.” Design and decor for outdoor environments, as well as outdoor products, are also provided by Beck’s. “We’ve added Ashley Outdoor Furniture to our showroom, as well as grills, barbecues and smokers from brands like Napoleon, Louisiana and Green Mountain,” Alisa notes. “It only seemed right to help clients create outdoor living spaces as stunning as their homes’ interiors! We’d like to help as many Islanders as possible create efficient homes they love—and do so seamlessly.”
