PEIL Fall21-NEW

HOLIDAY 2021

It used to be that when you wanted to send flowers to another town, province or country you visited or called your local florist, who helped you make a selection and then “wired” the order to a florist in the destination. Easy. Things have changed… now you, the customer, can call the florist in any town and talk to them directly. You can even go online and order from a florist in just about any location. That’s easy and straightforward. Deal with the florist in your destination location. Google is a great resource to find a florist. But some of the florists you find on Google may not be in your destination city. Some may not even have a flower shop. They are “order gatherers." It can be confusing because many web companies are ready to take your order and resend it to a florist in your destination. It is best to deal directly with the florist in your destination city. How do you know if the florist listed on Google is in the location you selected? Look at the list of florists below the Google ads at the top of the page… scroll down. These are florists with addresses in your desired location. They should also be listed on the map beside the list of florists. Some may have ads at the top (we often do) but if the florist with an ad at the top is not listed below or shown on the map. They are an order gatherer. Another easy way to select a legitimate florist is to call your local florist and ask for the name of a florist in your destination. We can help. It is always best to talk to the florist directly. This Christmas season, order early. Christmas is Saturday, December 25. We recommend that you place your orders by December 18th (or before) and have them delivered on Dec 20, 21 or 22nd. Christmas 2021 will be a very busy season... some florists may be booked up by the 21st or 22nd.
