One of the ways we support this work is through our partnership with food pantries. The Anne Arundel County Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry makes visits to the Busch Annapolis and Deale libraries and the Blessed in Tech Ministries Food Pantry offers food assistance at Eastport- Annapolis Neck Library. Additionally, we host Caring Cupboards with free pantry items available outside Broadneck, Brooklyn Park, Busch Annapolis, Crofton, Deale, Edgewater, Glen Burnie, Linthicum, Maryland City at Russett, Odenton, Riviera Beach and Severna Park libraries. Community members are welcome

Food Resources at the Library

to take what they need and donate what they can. Another key component in our effort to end hunger is the community garden at Crofton Library. Nonprofit FarmUnity created a 4,000 square foot garden and dedicated volunteers contribute their time to plant, water and harvest the produce. The produce is then distributed to Medicaid patients and made available to library customers. While several AACPL branches serve as food collection sites for local food banks, all library branches accept Similac and Enfamil baby formula for distribution at the Community Pantry at Discoveries: The Library at the Mall. Anyone who needs help getting basic baby supplies can stop by the Discoveries Library on the first Tuesday of the month from 6 to 7 pm or the first Saturday of the
