These days cybersecurity is as much a business priority as it is a technology priority. That’s because despite years of investment in security measures and controls, cyber-attacks keep on coming, more organised and threatening than ever and more than capable of presenting an existential threat to an entire organisation. Businesses are having to meet this rising tide of threat by changing the way they approach cybersecurity. The CISO is no longer looking out for best-of-breed point solutions that protect one area of the business, leaving loopholes that bad actors can exploit. What they are demanding is a more integrated approach based around Zero Trust principles, designed for an age of cloud, IoT and mobile working .
In the modern digitally-focussed enterprise, data is king. The ability to analyse that data and extract value from it is at the heart of staying ahead of the competition and future-proofing your business. Data analytics and the exploitation of Big Data is undergoing a revolution thanks to a new generation of software tools, technologies and applications. Huge amounts are being invested across all sectors in trying to turn data and analytics into business advantage. The Big Data innovations of the future are all about automation with systems getting smarter and applications more adaptable and self-configuring. AI- driven algorithms are at the heart of this innovation, designed to improve and optimize over time.
