Pockets is that perfect all-around horse. He has plenty of get-up-and-go for a job yet is gentle enough to pull our kids up in the saddle with us and let them ride along. Like his name, Pockets is an “in-your-pocket” ranch gelding with a sweet and friendly nature. He gets out and walks, has a ground covering trot and a bottomless gas tank when asked. He is extremely cowy and one of my favorites to sort on. We’ve roped and doctored bulls on him, ridden in town, and taken him overnight camping. Pockets loves the outdoors

Hip # 10 – Blue Boy (Grade) Everyone needs a blue roan with that Wrangler- blue color and willing-to-go attitude! I’ve used him for everything in the last year—from wrangling horses to night calving, branding, or simply checking things around the ranch on a Sunday afternoon. There’s nothing he loves more than heading down the trail with his ears pricked forward, just enjoying the view. There have been days I saddled him at 4:30 a.m. and went about ranch work, and he’s always been ready. He’s never offered to buck, even with weeks off or on
