Chex is very easygoing and steady. He will ride off slow or leave at a trot, whichever you ask of him. Chex willingly crosses water and ditches with no problem and rides great alone or in a group. He is an old soul—if you can hold the reins, you can probably ride him! Chex is great outside and fun to lope circles on in the arena. We have used him to trail cows, rope and doctor, and he has even worked through the night during calving season, pulling baby calves into the barn on a sled. Ritchie is a 6-year-old AQHA gelding standing 14.3 hands tall with a gentle, dependable disposition. He was started in a cutting program, giving him natural cow sense, quick feet, and a solid stop. Since then he has been used for sorting, ranch work, and trail riding, proving himself practical and versatile both in and out of the arena. He is safe, straightforward, and enjoyable to ride.
