On exige que vous restiez hors des sentiers jusqu’au lundi 29 mai, car les patrouilleurs du Club de VTT de l’Est de l’Ontario Inc. feront l’inspection et l’entretien des sentiers avant cette date. Pour des raisons pratiques, les panneaux «Trail Closed» seront retirés la fin de semaine avant l’ouverture. The SFX Falcons scuttled the hopes of Mer Bleue for a win in last Friday’s road game at the Millenium Sports Park in Orléans. The Falcons clipped their hosts 22-21 at the end of the final quarter of play. Placekicker Logan MacDonald landed Hammond on the scoreboard during the May 12 match, with a punt through the end zone for a safety point. The Falcons then pulled off a pass-and-catch play to push the score up 7-1. Quarterback Ethan Donald-Skinner connected with Slotback Fred Gagnier for a 20-yard pass touchdown, withMacDonald

booting out another extra point to help pull the Falcons further ahead on the scoreboard. After half-time, another pass-and-catch touchdown brought the score up to 14-8 for Hammond. Mer Bleue pulled itself up and ahead later in the third quarter.The Falcons tied up the score late in the quarter when Donald-Skinner connected with Tight End Sean Palmer for a 15-yard catch-and-run, followed by another extra point on the score- board, courtesy of placekicker MacDonald. Early in the fourth quarter, the Falcons recovered aMer Bleue fumble and brought it back for a touchdown, pushing the score to 21-15 for Hammond. The final drive of the game saw the Falcons perched on their own five-yard line. Theymoved the ball down the field with a 30- yard pass completion fromDonald-Skinner to Gagnier. Fullback Alex Chartrand then ran multiple first downs to move the ball up to the Mer Bleue goal line. Five seconds left on the clock andDonald- Skinner ran the ball into the end zone to tie up the scoreboard 21-all. MacDonald clinched the win for the Falcons with a final successful place kick.

With responsibility for the overall management and operation of our long term care facility in Bourget, Ontario, your mission will be to achieve optimal standards of care and service to our residents. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that resident care and safety is always the number one priority of the Home. • Implement and maintain an effective Continuous Quality Improvement process.

• Develop and maintain good rapport with people and organizations, with our residents, their families, facility and corporate staff, consulting health professionals, external health care organizations, government ministries and agencies, community organizations and others. • Effectively manage facility staff including hiring, orientation, training, guidance and, where necessary, discipline and termination of employment. Mentor, guide and develop management team members. • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, collective agreements and applicable legislation. • Maintain an effective maintenance program for the property, so that the facility is safe, clean, comfortable and visually appealing. Ensure safety hazards are resolved and that an approved fire plan is in effect. • Ensure financial accountability throughout the facility. Implement financial policies and procedures mandated by the Corporate Office. Ensure that the facility operates within budget. Maintain efficient procurement and supplies control procedures in place. • Facilitate optimal occupancy levels with the facility. • Complete all necessary administrative documentation, report submissions and record retention according to government and corporate guidelines. To be successful you will need: • A post-secondary degree (minimum of three-year program), or a post-secondary diploma in health or social services (minimum two-year program). • Three years’experience in a leadership position, preferably in the health or social services sector. • Have successfully completed or be enrolled in a program in long-term care home administration or management that is a minimum of 100 hours in duration of instruction time. • Solid leadership and managerial skills. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. • Working knowledge of the Long Term Care Act • Preference will be given to a bilingual candidate (English and French) This is a full-time permanent position. Pay commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will require a current Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Screening.
