F rom a big-city teenager seeing a sky full of stars for the first time, to a couple who came simply to spend a weekend sitting with the goats, to families with young kids who discover the unconditional love of animals and jump at the chance to help with barn chores - the anecdotes she hears from her customers are what make running the business so rewarding for owner Kim MacLeod. “The feedback I’ve gotten from people and how thankful they are when they’re leaving, that really warms my heart,” she says. “I want people to come here and relax and get away from the busyness of everyday life and this world of crazy technology that we live in now. I want them to leave here feeling rested, refreshed, and restored and ready to go back and face the real world again.”
