Cloverdale Paint is a Canadian company offering high-quality paints since 1933. They offer over 1,300 paint colours options with a wide range of interior and exterior products to best suit the customer’s dream project, making for endless choices. “Cloverdale’s Colour of the Year for 2024 is Prosperity 0107!”Dawn said. “We are seeing the trend of deep and rich colours continuing this season. This full-bodied romantic pink adds warmth and depth to the chosen room. Pair it with warm whites, vintage finds, and fluffy furniture to complete the space.” Both Dawn and Lauren are in love with the paint trend of colour drenching. This technique uses a single colour to paint every surface in a room – walls, ceiling, doors, trim. The result is a room with a dramatic punch that will serve to maximize the appearance of a room but in an inexpensive way. The deep tones of blues, greens, browns and magentas are popular, but you can choose any colour that will work best in your space. If you’re looking for examples of available shades in these tones, Cloverdale CA191 Spruce, CA166 Deep Forest and CA076 Cobblestone are a great place to start.
Another popular trend is the judicious use of black paint. “Black is powerfully alluring. Whether is it is an accent wall, ceiling colours, or piece of furniture, black draws a striking contrast in a room and allows other colours to pop,” advises Lauren. “People may not have thought of black in their living room or hallway, but matte black is really having a moment and we are here for it!” Finally, earth tones - do they ever really go out of trend? Rooms painted and accented in warm autumn colours set the scene for the perfect recharging zone. Add a plaid blanket, your favourite book and a beverage of your choice and you will never want to leave. Dawn and Lauren suggest trying Cloverdale colours CA014 Cotton, CA080 Stone, CA219 Auburn, CA162 Olive, and CA124 Tapestry to achieve that cozy vibe. Dawn and Lauren at Town ‘n Country are looking forward to helping their clients with their next projects, whether it be new colours, flooring or designs, or all of these!
