Class: Junior Major: Equine Sciences with Honors I'm excited to participate in LOR because I enjoy following market trends and learning about influential bloodlines. Attending sales like the Art of the Cowgirl Invitational Horse Sale and Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horse Sale has given me a deep appreciation for the professionalism and tradition behind ranch horse auctions. I look forward to applying my experience in equine facilities management and hospitality to elevate the event atmosphere. Also, LOR is an opportunity for me to improve my public speaking skills.

The LOR program has taught me I am capable of much more than I imagined. I am forever in-debt to this program for the industry connections, opportunities, and friends I have gained. I have loved learning more about the Equine Industry and potential career-paths after college!
Kaitlyn Contreras Major: Equine Sciences I love the LOR program. They do great work training and raising these horses into competent performance and ranch horses. I’ve really enjoyed participating in the LOR sales team and I’m excited to see all the hard work we’ve done behind the scenes come together during the sale. Colorado Springs, CO Class: Senior

It has been such a wonderful experience getting to be part of this incredible program!

Before I ever even got into CSU I wanted to do the LOR program. I have always loved training and I have even trained all three of my horses from the ground up. LOR is a huge step in my career as I have already started my own training business but being in LOR will help give me even more tools and give me credibility.
