PLL SMOKIN DJ , “DJ” is a 6-year-old, ranch-raised gelding. “DJ” has been used for all aspects of ranching, including pasture roping and doctoring, heat detection for AI, and to pony colts when starting them. He stands at 15.1 1/2 hands and weighs 1340 pounds. With his size, muscle, and bone he is ready to go on and make someone a jam-up head horse. “DJ” is by SEVEN S SMOKIN GUN, who has produced a number of top rope and ranch horses, including PLL REAL TIGER, who won the limited open heading at the American Rope Horse Futurity in 2021. He is also the sire of PLL GUN HOBBY who qualified for the semi-finals of breakaway at the American Rodeo 3 years in a row and is currently competing in tie down in the PRCA. One of his colts finished in the top 5 in the Cutting Horse Association of Nebraska. Two more of his sons have competed successfully in ranch rodeos, winning first once and second twice at the Black Hills Stock Show competition, in addition to winning numerous local rodeos.
