HEAD OF ESTATES AND FACILITIES £40,000 - £45,000 PER ANNUM (PLUS GENEROUS BENEFITS)
As one of London’s fastest growing multi-academy trusts, CHAT Academies are looking to appoint a forward thinking, dynamic Head of Estates and Facilities who will work across all academy sites and play a key role in the academies expansion plans. Working in partnership with the trust’s leadership team, the Head of Estates and Facilities will have the responsibility of ensuring that all the schools are safe, secure, accessible and welcoming for visitors and members of staff, as well as making sure the environments are at the highest quality so that students and the trust can develop and achieve their potential. As well as being responsible for all buildings and premises within the Trust, the Head of Estates and Facilities will lead on Health and Safety, which includes the security and welfare of its students, staff, and visitors. This is an exciting time within the Trust as there are plans for further expansion, and this position plays a key role. The Head of Estates and Facilities will develop, implement and lead on a MAT-wide estates development strategy, managing and planning key maintenance and all capital works across the estate – including the tendering, letting, implementation, and snagging of all projects, and the management of contracts and contractors alike. The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate a strong working background within estates and facilities, coupled with the experience of leading on projects and working to strict financial and time-sensitive deadlines. The person will be an outstanding communicator with excellent people skills, someone who can develop, motivate, and lead a team, build relationships with staff and external companies, and really drive and embody the visions and values of the Trust.
