Natalii’s Nilpeter Upgrade Doubles Production Capacity
The Perfect Combo Get Peak Performance From Your Equipment with Matched Component Sets
Polish label manufacturer Natalii has upgraded its Nilpeter FA-17 flexo press to increase production speed and effi- ciency. Natalii was founded in 1985 in Poland and has cli- ents in key sectors such as food processing, cosmetics, automotive, and pharmaceuticals. Today, many of its prod- ucts are exported to other EU countries. Nilpeter and Natalii have enjoyed a close collaboration for many years. Their oldest Nilpeter press, an FA-2500, was installed in 2000 and is still operational today. In total, Natalii currently operates 10 Nilpeter presses. The primary objective of the recent upgrade was to increase the operational speed of the FA-17 press, which previously operated at 50-55 meters per minute for this specific heat-shrink-sleeve job. By integrating an addition- al drying unit, the press now features two drying units, facil- itating more efficient and rapid drying of water-based ad- hesives and varnishes. Following the upgrade installation, the end customer has approved the new shrink-sleeve job running at 120 meters per minute, confirming accurate po- sitioning and effective drying of the water-based adhesive on plastic cups. Additionally, the FA-17 at Natalii, being the 10th press, received a comprehensive software update. This upgrade to the latest Nilpeter software version introduces ad- vanced automation features, further optimizing Natalii’s flexo printing operations.

All4Labels Strengthens South African Presence
All4Labels Global Packaging Group has made strategic in- vestments in infrastructure and technology to enhance its services in South Africa. With the acquisition of a production site in Durban 18 months ago, All4Labels expanded its market presence in South Africa. Since then, the group has integrated the fa- cility into its global network. With this integration now being completed, the site will play a key role in advancing the company’s labeling ser- vices in the South African market. With advanced technologies and the combined exper- tise of its Durban and Cape Town sites, the group is target- ing an expected growth rate of +8 percent supported by an investment of $1.65 million. The newly expanded shopfloor highlights the compa- ny’s enhanced capabilities in flexo, built to increase speed and capability in PSL, SSL and wrap label applications. These capabilities enable All4Labels to provide the latest disruptive technology Stardirect, the new ‘no label’ look product that reduces plastic and wastes by eliminating printing substrates. This product is suitable for glass, plas- tic, and aluminum containers.
