Batchelor Television Students Receive Multiple Philo Awards The Philo Festival for Media Arts announced its 2017 winners and Batchelor Television (B-TV) students have received multiple awards. The winners will be recognized during a ceremony on October 20, 2017. Mr. Jeff Rudkin is the director of B-TV. Since 2001, his students have been awarded 82 1st-place awards.

B-TV is a student film and video production class that produces a variety of student films including documentaries, original student screenplays, PSA's, original music videos, and a weekly school newscast. The program, which has won over 500 state, national, international awards and was honored at the United Nations in New York City for winning their age division in the Peace in the Streets Global Film Festival.

South Students Featured at All American HS Film Festival

Bloomington High School South students, Robbie Gonyea , Lucas Coniaris, and former student, Gergely Vidra who now resides in Hungary, will have their work recognized at the 2017 All American High School Film Festival and Photog Fest held on October 6 - 7. AMC Theater in Times Square and Caelum Gallery in New York City will be hosts for this event.
