When choosing where to hold your reception, keep in mind that a small guest list offers a larger selection of Island wedding venues. Groups of 100 or more guests are limited to just a few larger, full-service resort facilities on the Island. As for timing, if your guest list is large and you’ve selected a Saturday for your day, you should make ceremony and reception reser- vations at least nine to twelve months in advance. Having a smaller event offers more availability and planning is much easier.
