ROCKLAND | Pour une 9e année consécu- tive, la collecte de fonds pour la campagne des habits de neige a connu un succès au- près de la communauté de Clarence-Rock- land, le 17 octobre dernier. «Tout a très bien été, a confié Brigitte Wil- liams, superviseure du programme Fiers de nos enfants de Groupe Action. Les gens ont très bien répondu à l’appel.» Plusieurs représentants d’organismes, notamment, sont allés prendre leur petit- déjeuner au Restaurant Friendly à Rockland où une partie des profits était versée à la campagne des habits de neige. Le but cette année est à nouveau de récolter 10 000 dol- lars pour l’achat d’habits de neige. «Tout a très bien été. Les gens ont très bien répondu à l’appel.» - Brigitte Williams De son côté, Lucie Champagne, de la Banque Scotia, en était à sa troisième par- ticipation au déjeuner. «C’est toujours une belle réussite et on est toujours fiers d’être partenaire avec cette activité. » Rappelons que les gens qui désirent faire la demande d’un habit de neige doivent le faire avant le 24 octobre afin que la distri- bution ait lieu le 1er novembre. Les gens doivent joindre la Maison de la famille de Rockland au 613-446-4220 pour prendre un rendez-vous pour un habit de neige. Le formulaire de demande est également dis- ponible au www.groupeaction.ca. Les gens doivent imprimer le formulaire, le remplir et le faire parvenir à la Maison de la famille. Assemblée annuelle de la Fondation du Collège d’Alfred aura lieu le 6 novembre 2014 à 19h au Campus d’Alfred.
