Boulle’s last appearance at Motul Petit Le Mans was in 2018, when he drove an LMP2 car for Performance Tech Motorsports. That day ended early for Boulle’s team, but not be- fore he was able to make up ground for the team in a successful stint. Leg- ge’s most recent appearance at Motul Petit Le Mans was at the same 2018 race, where she finished second in the GTD class. Last season, Ferriol, Legge and Hardpoint teammate An- drew Davis finished eighth of 15 en - tries in the race’s GTD class. Boulle rejoined the team for this race, filling the role held by Cusick Motorsports driver Stefan Wilson at Sebring Inter- national Raceway and Watkins Glen International. After starting the 10-hour race in 13th position, Boulle drove the Porsche up two positions to 11th in
the opening 90 minutes of the race. With Ferriol driving the car, it was run off the track after a rival’s incident, wrecking its front splitter — a body part that manages airflow — and ad - versely affecting its handling. Legge and Boulle would both battle the car as best they could, given the condi- tions, including a stop to change the splitter, but it would prove too much — and a second incident would ul- timately end the day. Boulle, Ferriol and Legge walked away with a dis- appointing, though valiantly fought, 12th-place finish. But, with 2023 roaring up, the excitement is revving high and de Boulle Motorsports looks forward to sharing its famous passion for racing and all the latest high-performance machines — whether they be on race- tracks or wrists.
