This joint charity initiative reflects a powerful message— “ When organizations collaborate with purpose, communities are uplifted. ” A Legacy of Compassion: Karamursel Brings Smiles to People with Disabilities On the breezy afternoon of December 6, 2025, the serene shores of Sama Bay in Arad, Kingdom of Bahrain, became the backdrop for an extraordinary display of community spirit and brotherly love. Members of Karamursel gathered not for a formal meeting, but for a mission of the heart, participating in a special charity outreach event for the Bahrain Mobility International Centre in celebration of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities. The event served as a powerful reminder that the principles of the Scottish Rite, humanity, justice, and brotherly affection, are best expressed through action. The atmosphere at Sama Bay was electric with shared laughter. The members of Karamursel, known for their dedication to service, stepped out of their traditional roles to engage directly with the children and families supported by the Society. The day was meticulously planned to ensure inclusivity and engagement including interactive games. They were tailored activities that allowed everyone, regardless of physical ability, to participate and compete for prizes. Clowns were also present to gift children with balloons and entertain them with magic. The primary focus of the day was the Bahrain Mobility International Center, an organization that has long been a pillar of support for those with special needs in the Kingdom. Ongoing conflicts, including the Russia– Ukraine War, now in its fourth year, and the escalating tensions in the Middle East involving Gaza, Israel, Iran, and allied groups, along with continuing conflicts in Syria and Yemen, have made our efforts more demanding. Despite these difficulties, our community has shown extraordinary commitment and resilience. To our devoted Orient staff, thank you for your consistent dedication and care. To our Consistories, your generosity and steadfast support ensure that our charitable mission continues to thrive. The brothers, together with the support of members from various organizations, worked diligently to ensure that every food pack was prepared with identical care and attention. Each volunteer participated in checking and arranging the contents, making certain that all recipients received the same selection of items.
