The Bulletin

The Orient of Delaware continues to develop new and creative management practices under the leadership of Deputy Scott. The old will not do. If you want the same results, keep doing the same old thing. The Orient is practicing out with the old and in with the new. As Deputy, “ I say to be one ask one is out, but if you see one get one is in. ” Our Sovereign Grand Inspector Generals meet every quarter to lay out goals for the United Supreme Council programs they manage in support of the Sovereign Grand Commanders Goals. “ Recruit, Reclaim and Retain ” are major goals across the Orient. LIFETIME MASONIC LEGACY AWARD SGIG Scott, 33 o , conceived the idea of a Lifetime Masonic Legacy Award Luncheon and copyrighted it. GIG Solomon L. Orient of Delaware Sovereign Grand Inspector General James A. Scott, Deputy

As Deputy for the Orient, I am very proud of our members, both Fraters and our Loyal Ladies of our Golden Circle. Serving as Deputy of the Orient is never easy. The Members of the Orient of Delaware reach the finish line regardless of how they get there. In my opinion, the results is the same, we accomplished our goal! While some organizations are declining, the Orient of Delaware is consistent and of recent, increasing its membership in both the Scottish- Rite houses and the Order of the Golden Circle. The level and character of membership is of an excellent level of professional folks. “ Growth and comfort never coexist ” said Ginni Rometty, former CEO of IBM. Growth continues in the Orient of Delaware. Mission and purpose are the supporting factors. As we focus on building the Scottish-Rite organizations, we level the playing ground by supporting our Ancient Craft Lodges and our Jurisdictional Grand Lodge and its activities.
