Once again congratulations are in store for G.I.G. Tony Peebles 33° (15)! He recently transitioned into a new role of alumni engagement director at Baldwin Wallace University which builds on his many years of progressively responsible experience within the higher education, commercial banking, financial planning and investment advisory services arena. All those competencies will be utilized in this new position. This is a full circle moment as Illustrious Peebles earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace in 1998.

Melvin “ Pete ” Pyles 33° (15) — was held. Illustrious Pyles is a Past Master of Ecclesiastes Lodge No. 120 and a member of Alpha Priory No. 1, Knight York Cross of Honor. The past few years have seen him faced with a few health challenges here and there which curtailed his Masonic activity quite a bit. A few Brothers from his Lodge (Ecclesiastes) and his Consistory (Bezaleel) visited with him for his birthday celebration. He is 85 years old.

Additionally, on September 15, Illustrious Peebles was honored by the African American Development Officers Network as a 2025 Charles R. Stephens Scholarship recipient in Atlanta. This is an honor reflecting excellence and leadership in the industry.
The Chapter, Commanders of the Rite (20) held their annual picnic. During this event S.G.I.G. Sidney D. Broadnax Jr. 33° (20) was gifted with a new Scottish Rite shirt with his recently bestowed title— Lieutenant Grand Commander Emeritus. Renfro-Berry Congratulations go out to G.I.G. Roderick Q. “ Rodney ” Blount 33°, L.D. Easton Consistory No. 21, Valley of Columbus on receiving the J. Maynard Dickerson Community Service & Activism Award in the Gray Award Category for the Buckeyes Under 40 Class of 2025 by the Ohio State University Black Alumni Society. This prestigious honor recognizes young alumni who have made significant contributions to their professions, communities, and society as a whole. Illustrious Blount earned a Master of Arts degree from Ohio State University and is one of the rising stars in the Orient.
