True Leaders make the sacrifice for those who they lead. KING DAVID CONSISTORY NO. 3 Chartered 1881, King David is the 3rd oldest Consistory in the Northern Jurisdiction. Under the leadership of Commander-In-Chief S.P. Christopher Mitchell, the Consistory conducts two study classes each month, chaired by our Dean of Instruction, G.I.G. Patrick Ryner which are well attended. Our 4th Wednesday Communication rotates between Mount Olive Lodge of Perfection, Mount Olive Chapter of Rose Croix and King David Consistory and are also usually well attended. In March 2025, King David participated at the Ceremony of Remembrance and Renewal along with Pentecost Consistory No. 98. In attendance also was, Manhattan Assembly No. 3, along with the Loyal Ladies from the other downstate Assemblies. The event was a success. On April 19, 2025, King David Consistory was honored to bring a bus load of Frater ’ s and Sisters, totaling more than 50 people to DeHugo Consistory No. 2 in New Jersey for the third Annual Founders Day Ceremony. Members of King David continue to support the Food Pantry it started which is now a partnership with the MWPHGL of NY and City Harvest. This past July King David, Bison Consistory No. 29 and Pentecost Consistory No. 98, supported Long Island Consistory No. 61 in their annual

conferring of the Scottish Rite Degrees. The Commanders of the Rite for King David led by VP Sandino A Sanchez, also conducted all the business successfully as required. BISON CONSISTORY NO. 29 Bison honored Illustrious Henderson Hutchins and Levi Young for their dedication and loyalty to the craft at an Annual affair on July 27, 2025. Three educational stipends to Rhezjens Barker, DaQuam Williams, and Nia King for their scholastic and community achievements were granted. Illustrious Robert Grice has been asked to be a mentor in the Willie Hutch program for the purpose of helping young adults with the Jackie Robinson program for a better sports life and continuing education. On June 21, 2025, Illustrious Sumlin put on a seminar for Prostate Cancer, Colon Cancer, and Lung Cancer and Breast Cancer at St. Paul ’ s AME Zion church. Other events included WUFO Men ’ s Health Awareness Month radio spotlight on June 24th, and, in August, the Erie County Fair and WECK Radio, tabling, and Prostate Cancer Symposium, group education. He has also continued the Illustrious Grady Edge book program by taking it a step further. He has started a Blessing in a Backpack for schools throughout the Western New York area. This program hands out a backpack every Friday during the school year with food and a book to at least 50 students. The backpacks are refilled on Fridays. UTICA CONSISTORY NO. 45 Utica, in Syracuse, is striving to for growth. We were saddened to hear of Illustrious Grady Edge stepping down as Grand Minister of State, but our sadness turned into gladness when he was made emeritus. On October 18th, we joyfully celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Council of Deliberation, State of New York (NYCOD). This remarkable milestone marked a century of dedication, leadership, and service which has shaped our community and organization in countless ways. Over the past hundred years, the NYCOD has played a vital role in fostering dialogue, inspiring progress, and supporting our shared values. Members past and present have contributed their time, wisdom, and vision, ensuring that the Council remains a strong and guiding force. The celebration allowed us to honor the legacy of our founders, recognize the achievements of our members, and look forward to a future filled with promise. The day was filled with special events, heartfelt speeches, and moments of reflection and the impact we continue to make.
