At Terry Physical Therapy, we are all about giving the best care and forming great lasting relationships with the patients. Sometimes thanks to that we get invitations to many community events. A family member of patient reached out to us from Amigos Y Familia, a local adult daycare so we could attend an event the daycare would be hosting. TPT was there to answer questions the clients had regarding physical therapy, played games and even got in on the dancing! Norma, the owner of Amigo y Familia couldn’t stop raving about all the improvements her mother had made at our clinic. She had already been to two different clinics before and wasn’t getting the results she needed. Norma knew her mother was getting her mobility back since her she was able to do what she loved the most: DANCE! Stories such as this one, melts our heart & knowing the impact we make on our patients life is why we strive to give the best care! Here is our PTA Miguel “Mike” Sanchez and fellow Student Jesus Acosta who helped out at the event, playing a game and giving prizes to the patients there and even dancing with Norma’s Mom!
atención y construir relaciones duraderas con los pacientes. A veces gracias a eso recibimos invitaciones a muchos eventos comunitarios. Un miembro de la familia de un paciente nos contactó desde Amigos y Familia, una guardería local para adultos para que pudiéramos asistir a un evento que se iba a llevar a cabo en las instalaciones. ¡TPT estaba allí para responder a las preguntas que los clientes tenían sobre la terapia física, participar de juegos e incluso del baile! Norma, la dueña de Amigo y Familia no podía dejar de comentar sobre todas las mejoras que su madre había hecho en nuestra clínica. Ella ya había estado en dos clínicas diferentes antes pero no habìa logrado los resultados que necesitaba. Norma supo que sumadre había recuperado su movilidad cuando vio que podía hacer lo que más amaba: ¡BAILAR! Historias como ésta, conmueven nuestro corazón y saber el impacto que hacemos en la vida de nuestros pacientes es la razón por la que nos esforzamos por brindar la mejor atención. ¡Aquí está nuestro ATF Miguel “Mike” Sánchez y su compañero estudiante Jesús Acosta que ayudaron en el evento, participando de un juego y dando premios a los pacientes allí e incluso bailando con la mamá de Norma!
