Meyer 7M Simmentals - Annual Simmental Bull Sale [4/18/26]

ANNUAL GENETICS SALE

Meyer 7M Simmentals

SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026 1 PM - 4PM MT Timed Online

Welcome to our 2026 Genetic Production Sale. We hope this finds you in good spirits and great health. It sure has been great to work with this year ’ s group of bulls as they mature. They had a good summer of grass in 2025 and weaning in late October went well. We wean using a low stress method. They started the pro- cess with their mothers in a corral for a couple of days, with their mothers teaching them how to eat from a bunk. Then the cows are removed and the calves are started on a mixed ration of ground grass/alfalfa hay with pea/ barley haylage. We bucket feed them, working up to 4 pounds of cracked corn a day. They free choice on Rangemate Liquid Feed and loose salt. We have fed this type of ration for several years and really like the longevity and performance of our bulls. We really appreciate the positive customer feedback we receive. That, coupled with our own experience of see- ing our bulls work for many years in our own program and having customers tell us our genetics help them have market topping success is very rewarding for us. We strive to breed, produce and market only our best genetics. Each bull is selected, handled one on one and worked through a stress test developed over our many, many years of raising Simmental cattle. My family and I are working around these bulls daily in order to truly learn their personalities. Every year, we find several buddies who need their daily scratches or pocket treat. This year ’ s offering is no different. We are again using the DVAuction timed online format. If you have any questions or suggestions about this format, please give me a call at 701-527-8657. If online bidding is new to you or you don ’ t have good service on sale day, please contact myself or Rowdy Benson at 605-569-1493 to help assist you with bidding options.
