What brings about this condition? Matt. 8:17. W ill it certainly come to pass? Rev. 19:9; 1:5. 2. Inside the City. “ No temple”—why? Rev. 22:4. Whence is the city’s light? v. 23. Does it say they had, or they needed no sun? v. 23; 22:5. 3. Outside the City, Who were outside? v. 24 (8 words). Had they the benefit o f the city’ s light? v. 24. Did they have access >to the city? v. 24, 26; Isa. 60:3. Why shall the gates stand open continu­ ally? Isa. 26:1, 2; 2:1-4. PRACTICAL POINTS (1) It will not be "new” by progress o f the old, but by egress. (2) Buy a place as near the palace as you can. (3 ) It is farewell forever to the doctor, the undertaker and the grave-digger. (4) All will be on the “ water-wagon” then. (5) The whole city will be a templé. ( 6 ) God’s Son, the source o f all light, will shine eternally. (7) It will be “peace, be still” perpetually. ( 8 ) The mark o f the blood o f the Lamb makes entrance easy. (9) The impenitent sinners all shut out forever. Then will be world-wide glorification o f Christ.
