Are You Smarter Than A Gasasaurus? HOW TO BE THE HOST 1. Congratulations on becoming the host! As the host, you hold the key to all knowledge—so make sure you keep it secret and play fair.

2. Once the teams have been assembled, ask each question to both teams at the same time.

3. Get the player from each team who is answering the current question to whisper their final answer into your ear.

4. Once both teams have given you their final answers, reveal the correct answer.

5. Keep track of each team’s progress using the Gus player markers provided on page 30 of the booklet.

6. Once all ten questions have been answered, announce the winning team.

7. Don’t be shy! Host the show with gusto and have some fun with it.

Host Answer: You can use your eyes, nose and ears to detect a leak. If you think there is a leak leave your home right away, don’t use any electronics or appliances, and call SaskEnergy to stay safe. 2. When building a new deck or fence in your yard, which of the following should you do first?

Host Answer: It’s best to be careful when doing any landscaping and construction in your yard. Hitting an underground line can be dangerous. Plan any digging project ahead of time and be sure to get the undergound gas lines located. Got it? Perfect! 3. Which of these is NOT a possible source of carbon monoxide in your home? A. Barbecuing indoors B. A furnace vent blocked with ice C. A running car in the garage D. A washer Host Answer : A washer doesn’t produce carbon monoxide, but all of the others do. Carbon monoxide leaks can put your family at risk. Check to make sure there is a carbon monoxide alarm installed in your home and make sure you know the sources that it can come from. 4. Natural gas is a fossil fuel, and it’s been around a while. When was it first used? A. In the 1990s B. 500 years ago C. Almost 3000 years ago D.
