Natural gas is used all over your home. It keeps you warm when it’s cold out, heats your water when you take a shower and can even be used to cook food on the stove or barbecue! DID YOU KNOW?

Natural gas is a mixture of different gases. It’s called a ‘raw’ gas and must be processed before it can be used. Usually it doesn’t have any colour or odour, but we make it stink by adding mercaptan. If there’s a leak, you’ll smell it!
