Namibia by Anna

Namibia. We spent a month camping in the bush all over the country, while photographing and learning about the incredible wildlife. This series of photographs is the result of my time there.

These photographs reveal the beauty of Namibian wildlife and landscapes, and show the animals in their natural state (e.g., a cheetah on a hunt, a rhino in repose, and a lion protecting his mate). In composing these images, I avoided defining these endangered animals by the many challenges they face, but instead focused on the joy in seeing them being unabashedly themselves, which I hope will inspire the viewer to take action to preserve and protect them.
