Community Giving to Benefit Expanded LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Center Bergen New Bridge’s LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Center opened on-site at the Medical Center five years ago. It has expanded its reach with a new facility in Bergenfield, N.J., which we celebrated when staff and community leaders cut the ribbon on February 25. Led by Medical Director Dr. Christopher Awwad, the new Center provides affirmative care in a safe, welcoming, and compassion - ate environment. The clinical and support team are members of the LGBTQ+ community, delivering essential, comprehensive, and culturally competent care. To support the Center’s mission, the Bergen New Bridge Foundation and LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Center team
