Challenges that were overcome The business has navigated multiple challenges in the last two years, not least the demanding task of staff retention. Budget constraints along with the need for a more sustainable, diverse, and complete service has increased competitiveness in the residential sector, requiring implementation of new technology to be more precise in execution, and eliminate wasted time and materials. Achievements by the business The company has: ● cultivated talent by enrolling six junior team leaders in site management courses and supporting senior managers in obtaining NVQ5, NVQ7, and other leadership qualifications;
● developed an app to track surplus materials across sites, empowering site managers to minimise waste; ● created an interactive timeline of past, existing, and approaching projects, giving team members a bigger picture view and helping the main office plan jobs proactively; ● invested in sustainable solutions; ● promoted several high-performing team leaders to project manager positions; ● completed more than 35 projects; and
● expanded into the design sector with over 20 residential designs and a 100% planning permission record.
