Sustainable Building Award — Stonewood Builders Limited The primary objective was to regenerate the Englefield Estate’s historic Sawmill in Berkshire into a sustainable, modern Estate Office, preserving its heritage. Key features included a fabric-first approach with sheep’s wool and cork insulation, reducing energy demand by up to 80 per cent. Solar panels generate 38,000 kWh annually, powering air- source heat pumps.
