rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel,” (v. 9). You see, the Bible clearly points out that the Saviour is not only a pre cious and wonderful Lord, but also DW E LLE R S IN D A R K N E S S They crouch 'round jungle campfires Grim-faced and rudely clad. Those tribesmen gazing skyward With pensive hearts and sad; They scan the stars and wonder If God above there be Who cares when they're sore bur dened, Or who their griefs can see. Unlettered is their language, Unknown are script and pen, Yet they have vaguely hoped for Some word from God to men; With neither chart nor guide-book. They've wandered through the years, And crowd they yet death's portal With naught to calm their fears. Our loved ones dwell serenely Girt 'round by Zion's towers, While those, unloved, by thousands Still battle demon powers; For them weird incantations And fiendish rites hold sway And to their pagan witchcraft They long have been a prey. The forest is foreboding With omens dark and drear; Its denizens are hostile Toward all who venture near; Yet someone who will answer The summons from above, Must breach hell's final stronghold And show them God is love. No light pervades those jungles Enshrouded in despair, No tunes of joy and gladness Are voiced by dwellers there. Haste then, light-giving message, Sweep on 'till praise be sung To Christ within the circle Of every tribe and tongue.

M uch is written about such pre cious subjects as the love of God, but seldom do we think a great deal about His judgment. This is one of the things which we find con cerning our Saviour in the Psalms. While our Saviour is kind, loving, gentle and gracious, yet let us never forget that all judgment is commit ted to Him as well. In Paul’s wonderful sermon at An tioch he preached through the power of God, “We declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their chil dren, in that he hath raised up Je sus again; as it is also written in the second Psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee” (Acts 13:32, 33). God is the only one who can be trusted to fulfill His promise of salvation. This assured provision of eternal life was brought to reality through the risen Christ. This portion of Scripture tells us that Paul found Christ in the second Psalm. Let us do the same. We can see to what the apostle had reference in verses 6 and 7 of this blessed chapter. Verse eight tells us, “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” There is an hour coming when the Lord shall return to rule and to reign upon this earth; righteousness shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The last beautiful sen tence of this Psalm gives us the won derful promise, “Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” For those who have never done that there is no hope, but only eternal separa tion from God. The Bible tells us that our Lord as Judge shall “Break them with a
