the great Judge of the universe. In Matt. 7 :21 we find Christ warning, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the king dom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Here are people who re hearse all of the wonderful things they have done in their service for Him, yet the Lord has to say to them, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” Christ knows those who are His sheep. These others, however, are merely hypocrites. One cannot be come a Christian simply by what he does or through his good works. One vital thing was missing. They had never come to receive the Lord Je sus Christ as their own personal Saviour. Have you merely built your life upon the sand ? When your life comes to the judgment, great will be the fall of God’s wrath upon you. You may be a busy church worker, doing
and saying so much. You aren’t evil or wicked, and yet as you look back on your experiences, you can see that you have never built your house upon the Rock, asking Jesus Christ into your heart to be your own personal Saviour. Will you do that? I f you do, you will never meet Christ as Judge because He says, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them.” If He knows you, He will keep you for all of time and eternity, and you will never perish.
