AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, reg- ularly recognizes member companies for outstand- ing plant safety through the annual Independent Safe Shop Awards and their perseverance and success with the Member Milestone Program. Each year, this recognition is given to member com- panies who meet the OSHA Recordable Incident Rate and the OSHA Lost Work Days Incident Rate. For those recognized in 2020, they had to have a Re- cordable Incident Rate that was less than 3.2, and for those recognized in 2021, they had to have a Record- able Incident Rate that was less than 2.5. In addition, both years had to have a LostWork Days Incident Rate = 0 (zero).
