Wrap Up Ask students to work in groups of five. Ask them to sit in a circle and put their alebrijes in the center. Tell them to take turns to describe an alebrije and for their classmates to guess which one they’re describing. Warm Up Have students draw an alebrije (a colorful creature made of different animal parts) using animals from each region of Mexico. Have them write the names of the animals and the place where they are from under their drawing. Make pairs and have students compare their drawings and check each other’s spelling.
