JONATHAN ZARAGOZA At 22, ZAGAT selected Jonathan to be on their “30 Chefs Under 30 Chicago” list. He served as executive chef at Logal Square’s Masa Azul. He later re-joined his family business, Birrieria Zaragoza as executive chef in 2014. He’s even travelled to Dubai to start a Mexican food truck “Hechoen Dubai.” In 2018, Jonathan won the StarChefs “Rising Star Award". moved to DC and took the position of chef de cuisine at Restaurant Nora. He relishes the total menu development freedom and the inspiration that Chef-Owner Nora Pouillon provides. He continues to promote with Pouillon the importance of local organic food in the capital city. After many years of working as executive chef of Bread and Tulips, 701 Restaurant and Wit & Wisdom, he took the position of executive chef of District Winery in Washington, D.C. BENJAMIN LAMBERT Growing up in northeast Ohio, hunting and fishing were just a regular part of Benjamin’s life. Chef Benjamin started his culinary career after enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America. After graduation, he worked first at Le Cirque 2000, then at Union Pacific and finally at Picholine in NYC, but it wasn’t until working with Chef Jason Neroni at 71 Clinton Fresh Foods that really developed an interest in farm-to-table.
