Welcome to Cunningham Livestock! This spring sale is our 5th anniversary of developing the New Day Genetics bulls and hosting the sale and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this successful team and program. Have the bulls improved over the last five years? Absolutely. That’s what this program is all about! Without a doubt, our team of breeders have made big strides in the last 5 years to bring you the most relevant and profitable genetics, and we continue to raise the bar in terms of our rigorous culling standards for phenotype, structure and feet. Over the past five years, we have fine-tuned our development process, and certainly, things look a bit different than in 2020. However, the core mission of developing these bulls slowly, on fescue remains the same, and I am confident that this process makes our bulls ready to go to work and hold up to the rigors of your fescue based, commercial beef enterprises.

DOCILITY RATING All bull lots have a Docility Rating. This is our own evaluation of the bulls and not based on their EPDs. Both measurements should be considered when making a buying decision. The bulls are ranked 1-3. Anything worse than a 3 (4-6) has been culled. The definitions are as follows:
