HECHT CATTLE COMPANY One of our newest genetic providers on the New Day team is Hecht Cattle Company near Sullivan, MO. Adam and Sarah along with their two children Emery and Briar carefully maintain a set of elite registered SimAngus and Simmental females. Adam has been entrenched in the commercial beef business, as along with maintaining his registered herd Adam is the manager for a large commercial herd near the Sullivan community. The AHCC prefix bulls blend genetic value with incredible type. Year in and year out these power bulls always find themselves near the top of the New Day bull offering. We are excited the Hecht family is part of the New Day team and his contacts are invaluable to New Day.

MCDONALD CATTLE COMPANY John and Blake McDonald of Sullivan, MO are fourth and fifth generation beef producers. McDonald Cattle Company has generations of selection pressure for problem- free, fescue-tolerant cattle with an emphasis on disposition, fertility, growth, and end-product merit. The McDonald’s are committed to genetic advancement, they’ve utilized AI for over 40 years and have a growing embryo transplant program overseen by Bryce and Katy McDonald. Angus, SimAngus, and Simmental bulls are offered in the Spring and Fall New Day sales. Years of critical selection have resulted in a functional set of brood cows that thrive in a commercial environment. John and April also run a commercial cow herd and market feeder cattle through livestock auction markets, Blake and Emily market fed cattle on a value-based grid and direct-to-consumer.
