PROVIDING SERVICE AND OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR CUSTOMERS New Day Genetics is committed to not only providing our customers with the best possible Bulls, but also providing them with additional marketing opportunities for their calves, such as our commercial bred heifer sales and our coordinated New Day Genetics influenced feeder calf sales. This past year we began working with Central Ozarks Stockyards in Squires, MO and Interstate Regional Stockyards in Cuba, MO to host New Day Genetics Influenced feeder cattle sales. The goal of these sales is to showcase the feeder cattle and genetics sired by our bulls, and ultimately capture more value for these known genetics and the health and management through our pre-conditioning program. These sales kicked off in the May of 2024, selling approximately 350 head through the 2 barns. Later in the fall for spring born calves, we implemented a tagging program to not only indicate the genetics but also the health and pre-conditioning status of the calves. Approximately 675 calves were sold in these two sales in January 2025. The table below provides a quick overview of some of the spring born calves that sold on January 13 and 14, that had weight ranges that could be easily compared to the Missouri State-wide averages for Medium/Large frame, Muscle Score #1 steers.
