Read out the information in each sentence. Ask students to copy down the sentences. Have students complete the text with their own information. Ask them to draw a self-portrait below the sentences. Write the following questions on the board: What’s your name? Where are you from? What languages do you speak? What’s your favorite food? Have four volunteers ask you the questions. Divide the class into pairs. Have them ask and answer about each other’s personal information. Materials Activity Book p. 93, 114, cards or sheets of paper
Warm Up Tell students they are going to play a memory game. Have students play in pairs. Give each student a sheet of paper and choose two countries. Explain they must be from a different part of the continent to their partner’s. Have students cut their sheets of paper into four equal pieces. Tell them to write the names of their countries on two pieces, and draw the flags on the other pieces. Have pairs turn their cards face down and mix them up. Tell students to take turns turning over two cards. The student with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.
